The Faculty of Dental Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), will mark this year’s World Oral Health Day with an outreach scheduled as follows:
- Theme: A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind
- Date: Thursday, March 20, 2025.
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Venue: UNILAG Medical Centre, Akoka
Events earmarked for the outreach include:
- Oral Health Talk on common oral health problems and symptoms to watch out for, treatment options, among others.
- Oral examinations
- Clean the teeth of two hundred (200) people, free of charge.
- Provide fillings of teeth for one hundred and fifty (150) people, at no cost.
- Create awareness about the opening of the new Dental clinic at the UNILAG Medical Center.
- Refer individuals who require advanced treatment to LUTH.
