Some applicants who have signed up on the UNILAG Career portal (www.career.unilag.edu.ng) have not submitted their applications. Applicants should note the following additional information and guidelines:
- Follow the provided instructions in each text field.
- Applicants are to “type-in” the text field. If text must be copied from anywhere, applicants must avoid copying characters such as bullet points along with the text from Microsoft Word.
- Applicants are to use the Add More button to add more education qualifications/entries in the case of post-secondary education and professional certificates. Applicants are NOT to enter all degrees in a text field.

4. Avoid merging all certificates into one file, as it may exceed the upload limit. Instead, hold the Ctrl key and click each file to select multiple certificates for upload.

5. Applicants are to avoid the use of apostrophe, full stop, semicolon in filename (such as John’s Application.pdf, BSc.Certificate.pdf). Introducing such characters in the filename would result in the server error “this page is not working” as there cannot be two “dots” in a file name. Make it a simple filename. Example (Application.pdf, BScCertificate.pdf). Avoid the use of apostrophes in the entire form.
6. If any error occurs, applicants are to refresh the page before refilling the form or re-initiate the process from the email received during sign-up.
Wishing you good luck!
