Professor Olatunde Otusanya to Deliver UNILAG’s 447th Inaugural Lecture, Nov. 5

Professor Olatunde Julius Otusanya of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Science, will deliver the Four Hundred and Forty-Seventh (447th) Inaugural Lecture of the University of Lagos on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the J.F. Ade-Ajayi Auditorium at 4:00 p.m. (Guests are kindly requested to be seated by 3:45 p.m)

The lecture, which is also the first (1st) in the 2025/2026 Academic Session, is titled “Fiscal Termites: Creating Endless Cycle of Underdevelopment.”

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, will chair the lecture, which promises to offer deep insights into the systemic challenges undermining economic development in Nigeria.

Members of the University community, including staff, students, alumni, and the general public are cordially invited.
