UNILAG Hosts International Men’s Day Rally, November 19

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) community will join the rest of the world on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, to mark the 2025 International Men’s Day Rally.

Activities for the day will commence with an awareness trek at 10:00 a.m. from the Senate House foyer round the Campus and back to the Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe Park.

Themed “Navigating Pressure: A Man’s Well-Being in Modern Lagos,” the event is organized by Elder Adedini Oluropo, a staff of the University’s Bursary section.

The rally seeks to celebrate men’s valuable contributions to the community, while also raising awareness about men’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being in today’s fast-paced world.

All staff and students of the University community are encouraged to participate in the initiative to promote wellness, community spirit, and open conversations about men’s roles in contemporary society.
