The Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos is set to host the Toyin Falola Master Class on “Power, Politics, and the African Condition” on Thursday, July 2, 2026 . The master class will provide attendees the opportunity to engage with contemporary issues shaping governance, leadership, and development across Africa. Certificates of Participation will be issued to all participants at the end of the programme.
Professor Toyin Falola is the Jacob and Frances Sanger Mossiker Chair in the Humanities and University Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a globally recognized Nigerian historian and leading scholar in African Studies whose insights continue to shape academic and policy conversations worldwide.
