The Federal Government has called for nominations for the 2026 Tertiary Institutions National Laureate Prize for outstanding scholarly work and research at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
To collate and forward the nominations appropriately, all Heads of Departments through Deans of Faculties are to submit two (2) outstanding dissertations and theses to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Institutional Laureate Selection Committee via: institutionallaureatecommittee@unilag.edu.ng, on or before 6 p.m. on Friday, 7 August 2026.
Please note that each submission must include the following:
i. Certified copy of the dissertation or thesis;
ii. Abstract (maximum 500 words);
iii. Evidence of successful defence;
iv. Supervisor’s recommendation;
v. Head of Department’s endorsement;
vi. Dean’s endorsement;
vii. Plagiarism report;
viii. Ethics approval (where applicable); and
ix. Evidence of publications, patents or prototypes (where available).
