Four members of faculty at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have emerged Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund)/ National Research Fund (NRF) grant awardees for the year 2024 (Batch 10).
The grant awardees and their projects are as follows:
- Dr. Aneyo, Idowu Ayisat of the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences for the project: Advanced Solutions for Tackling Novel Psychoactive Substances in Nigeria: Integrating Prevalence Studies, Analytical Profiling, and Cost-Effective Detection Technologies
- Dr. Egunjobi, Adenike Titilayo of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, for the project: Bridging the Skill Gap to Improve Higher Education Quality and Graduate Employability in Nigeria
- Dr. Ehigie, Julius Osato of the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Physical and Earth Sciences for the project: Modelling of Real-Time Air Pollution Tracking for Air-Quality Index Calculations An Innovative Time-Integrator for the Numerical
- Dr. Odeleye, Anthonia of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, for the project: An Investigation of Economic Policy Shocks, Welfare Lessons and Coping Strategies of Women in Nigeria’s Informal Sector.
