Call for Papers for UNILAG Journal of Humanities (UJH) and UNILAG Journal of Medicine, Science and Technology (UJMST)

The Academic Publishing Centre TETfund South-West, University of Lagos (UNILAG) invites scholars and researchers to submit original manuscripts for consideration for publication in the following UNILAG flagship journals:

  1. UNILAG Journal of Humanities (UJH), a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal that publishes high-quality research articles, reviews, and critical essays in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and related disciplines.

Scope of Publication includes (but not limited to):

  • Literature, Language, and Linguistics
  • Philosophy, History, and Cultural Studies
  • Sociology, Political Science, and International Relations
  • Arts, Media, and Communication Studies
  • Library and Information Science
  • Interdisciplinary studies related to the Humanities

2 UNILAG Journal of medicine, Science and Technology (UJMST), a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and practice.  It publishes original research, clinical studies, reviews, and case reports in all areas of medicine and health sciences.

Scope of Publication includes (but not limited to):

  • Basic Medical Sciences
  • Clinical Medicine and Surgery
  • Public Health and Community Medicine
  • Pharmacy, Pharmacology, and Nursing
  • Emerging trends in medical practice and technology
  • Medical education and ethics

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Submissions should follow the journal’s author guidelines (APA/AMA referencing style, depending on the discipline).
  • All manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review.
  • Articles should be submitted electronically in MS Word format.
  • Word count:
  • Research articles: 5,000 – 8,000 words
  • Review papers: up to 10,000 words
  • Short communications/case reports: 2,000 – 3,000 words

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: Monday, November 24, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: Monday, December 8, 2025
  • Publication Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2026

Every article published will be assigned DOI and indexed.
