The University of Lagos community is cordially invited to participate in the International Conference & Workshop on Energy Transition and Sustainability, scheduled as follows:

Venue: Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), University of Lagos
The first two days (October 14 – 15), will feature a hybrid workshop on Energy Transition and Sustainability while the last day (October 16, 2025) will feature an in-person international Conference on Environmental Law and Governance for Sustainable Development, Book Launch, and Induction ceremony culminating in the award of an Advanced Certificate in Energy Transition and Sustainability.
The conference and workshop with the theme: “Biodiversity, Nature-based Solutions, and Sustainable Development”, is organised by the Green Institute in partnership with Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Association of Environmental Law Lecturers in Middle East and North African Universities (ASELLMU), and the Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (OGEES).
Participants will gain knowledge in climate finance, ESG, renewable energy, legal frameworks and be inducted as Sustainability Laureates of the Green Institute.
