The Office of Career Development Services (OCDS), University of Lagos (UNILAG) is set to hold a transformative career programme tagged ‘‘Beyond the Campus’’ for final year students of the University of Lagos.
The event is scheduled as follows:

Time: 9:00 a.m.
Venue: Jelili Adebisi Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall, UNILAG, Akoka
The programme is designed to prepare students for life beyond the university environment by equipping them with practical employability, leadership, entrepreneurial, and workplace readiness skills necessary for success in today’s competitive world.
Programme highlights:
- Career readiness and employability sessions.
- Training on the 12 Core Talent Skills required in the modern workplace.
- Recruitment and networking opportunities with employers.
- Psychometric assessments for students.
- Club inauguration and mentorship engagement activities.
The following developmental and career-focused clubs will be inaugurated:
- Enterprise Club
- Tech and Coding Club
- Creative Club and
- Public Speaking Club
To ensure sustainability, each club will be guided by distinguished patrons, matrons and mentors including:
- Abike Dabiri
- Mo Abudu
- Bolanle Austin Peters
- Chico of Classic FM
- Other distinguished individuals and UNILAG staff representatives.
These mentors will also be honored with awards during the inauguration ceremony.
Registration
All final years students of the University are to register to attend the event via https://bit.ly/4tL5aRk They are to come along with their laptops.
Club registration – Interested students are to register to join any of the clubs via https://bit.ly/42SIEex and also attend the programme. Matrons/Patrons/mentors will interact with members (students) of the various clubs.
