DESCRIPTION:The Department of Social Work\, University of Lagos (UNILAG) in collaboration with Intergenerational Rescue Foundation Inc. is set to hold Agroween ’25\, as follows: \nDate:    Tuesday\, November 25\, 2025 \nTime:     9:00a.m. \nVenue:   Faculty of Social Sciences \nWith the theme: Sowing Seeds of Innovation\, Agroween ’25 will feature several activities including a workshop which will centre around food\, agriculture\, and innovation. The event aims to bring together stakeholders for knowledge sharing\, showcasing of innovations\, and networking with leaders in sustainability and humanitarian work. \nOutstanding innovative research ideas and contributions of individuals to the food and agriculture industries will be recognised at Agroween ’25. Awards will be presented to dignitaries including former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria\, H.E. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; Prof. Desmond Majekodunmi\, Mrs. Funke Egbemode\, Mr. Tony Elumelu\, and Prof. Vide Adedayo. \nMembers of the university community are cordially invited.
