Prof. Amira Delivers 21st Inaugural Lecture, September 9

Professor Christiana Oluwatoyin Amira of the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), will deliver the 21st Inaugural Lecture of the 2025/2026 Academic Session on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The lecture, titled “The Silent Storm: Transforming Kidney Care from Late Rescue to Early Prevention,” is scheduled for *4:00 p.m. (Guests are expected to be seated by 3:45 p.m.) at the J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium, UNILAG. It will explore critical issues in kidney care, with emphasis on the need to shift from late-stage intervention to early detection and preventive healthcare.
