UNILAG Hosts 5th Africa Congress for Conservation Biology Aug 31–Sept 4

The Natural Resources Conservation Unit of the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), in collaboration with the Nigerian Society for Conservation Biology, will host the 5th Africa Congress for Conservation Biology (ACCB 2026) from Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4, 2026.

Themed Embracing Indigenous Solutions and Strengthening Policies for Conserving Africa’s Biodiversity in a Changing Climate, the ACCB 2026 will commence with an Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.at the J.F. Ade. Ajayi (Main) Auditorium, UNILAG.

Members of the university community and general public are cordially invited.
