The University Librarian, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Olatokunbo Christopher Okiki, has been elected Chairman of the Association of University Librarians of Nigerian Universities (AULNU) for the 2026 Executive Term.
This prestigious appointment is a recognition of his leadership, professional excellence, and contributions to academic librarianship.
The Certificate of Return confirming his appointment was issued on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, by the AULNU Electoral Committee after he successfully completed the required screening process. As Chairman, Professor Okiki will lead the Association in advancing professional standards, digital transformation, open access, and research support across Nigerian university libraries.
