The University of Lagos Women Society School (ULWS) is a private nursery and primary school established in 1967 and is located in a conducive environment inside University of Lagos, Akoka campus, Lagos State.

The Board of ULWS School, University of Lagos hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant teaching and non-teaching positions in the institution.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHING POSITIONS

  1. CLASS TEACHER III (ENGLISH) – ULWSSS 6: NCE in English from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required but would be an added advantage.
  2. CLASS TEACHER III (MATHS) – ULWSSS 6: NCE in Maths from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required but would be an added advantage.
  3. CLASS TEACHER III (CREATIVE ART) – ULWSSS 6: NCE in Creative Art from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required but would be an added advantage.
  4. CLASS TEACHER III (PHYSICAL EDUCATION) – ULWSSS 6: NCE in Physical Education from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required but would be an added advantage.
  5. CLASS TEACHER III (PHONICS) – ULWSSS 6: NCE in Phonics from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. No experience is required but would be an added advantage
  6. CLASS TEACHER II (MATHS) – ULWSSS 7: NCE in Maths from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. A minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience is required.  OR B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), B.A. (Ed.) in Maths from a recognized institution with a minimum of   2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of     1 year teaching experience. OR B.A., B.Sc., plus PGDE from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
  7. CLASS TEACHER II (PHONICS) – ULWSSS 7: NCE in Phonics from a recognized institution with SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. A minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience is required. OR B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), B.A. (Ed.) in Phonics from a recognized institution with a minimum    of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience. OR B.A., B.Sc., plus PGDE from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.

In addition, candidates:

  • Must possess the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate/License,
  • Must be computer literate, and
  • Must not be more than 40years.

REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-TEACHING POSITIONS

  1. PERSONAL ASSISTANT II – ULWSSS 7: OND Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Secretarial Studies, Administration/Office Technology and Management or relevant disciplines from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Lower Credit plus SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 4 year experience. OR B.A/B.Tech/B.Sc./HND in Secretarial Studies Administration/Office Technology and Management or relevant discipline from a recognized Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division/ Lower Credit. SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption.Minimum of 1 year experience.
  2. EXECUTIVE OFFICER (ACCOUNT) – ULWSSS 6: OND in from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit plus SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics is compulsory. Minimum of 1 year experience.
  3. CLEANER – ULWSSS 2: Candidates for the post of Cleaner should possess SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L Certificate with a minimum of PASS in any three (3) subjects.
  4. DRIVER – ULWSSS 3: SSCE/NECO/WASCE O/L Certificate with three (3) Pass in any subject Plus Class ‘E’ Driving License and Trade Test II (Driver’s/Motor Vehicle Mechanic’s Work). Minimum of 3 years’ experience.

Candidates for Personal Assistant II, Executive Officer (Account), Cleaner and Driver should not be more than 45 years of age.
