  1. UNILAG IS MORE THAN JUST A UNIVERSITY. CARES, CHIBUIHEM STANLEY

  2. Good! But I think, Public Relationship and Advertisement should be under Social sciences or better still, major in some Sociology and Psychology courses.

    1. Thank you for your input Ayoola. Public Relations and Advising was previously a course under the Department of Mass Communication, which was domiciled in the Faculty of Social Sciences. It is that department that has now been unbundle and expanded to become a stand alone faculty and the key courses under it, its department. Rest assured that these decisions were made after years of careful deliberation and professional review.

  3. Unilag is great for implementing this initiative. Now, you are to compute with those advance countries Universities by splitting those faculties with their respective bundle courses.
This will further enhanced the more practical aspect in some courses especially those medical courses and yield more good results

  4. Will they update the Inter-faculty eligibility transfer list then???

    1. Thank you for asking. Information about this will be shared on our official website (this website) and social media platforms (@UNILAGNigeria) once available.

    KEEP ACHIEVING.

  7. What happened to those graduates that earned degree from one of the faculties so advanced . Can the unilag senate or authority re award to meeting the recent development ? The products of the unilag are in the eyes of the world 🌎.

  18. This is a good step in a right direction. I hope UNILAG will review their policy as regards cross discipline endeavours for postgraduate studies.

    1. No, SPESSCE is not a faculty. It is a Centre, as indicated in its name: UNILAG Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement Centre of Excellence.

  19. I strongly believe that this will bring the much needed intellectual drive and challenge to foster human resources development towards economic growth in the country. This is just the beginning because it will set out the pace for other educational institutions in the country to follow.

May Nigeria be freed from the fangs of chronic corruption and may Nigeria be greater.

    Well done 👏

  20. I would like to commend the University under the visionary and able leadership of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Folasade Ogunshola, OON for this bold and forward looking initiative. It’s simply brilliant and will not doubt propel the University into an assured future of innovation and academic excellence.

  23. Pls in the faculty of engineering, I did not see computer engineering and electrical engineering? Doe it mean UNILAG does not offer those curses?

    1. We have the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It is under this department, that the programme Computer Engineering is housed.

  24. I believe that the department of intelligent systems and robotics should be under the Faculty of Engineering

    1. Rest assured that these decisions were made after years of careful deliberation and professional review.
