Young Authors from UNILAG Staff School to Showcase Nine Storybooks at Public Presentation, July 24

The University of Lagos Staff School, LUTH/CMUL Annex, Idi-Araba, is proud to announce the public presentation of nine captivating storybooks authored by its talented young students.

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Old Great Hall, College of Medicine, LUTH, Idi-Araba.

This remarkable literary showcase features works by budding writers aged 9 to 11, highlighting their creativity and storytelling prowess. The books, mentored and edited by Dr. Esther Olayide Sogbannu and Mr. Ambali Ifetayo Ifedamisi, promise to inspire readers of all ages. 

The featured titles and their respective young authors are: 

1. Genesis of Nemesis – Olaniyan Favour Opeyemi

2. Friend of His Shadow – Adeosun Oluwatumininu

3. The Deeds of Destiny – Obiogun-Okesola Oluwadabira

4. Beauty Goes Wild – Olajide Grace

5. Power of a Mother – Oyinloye Oluwafemi Olu-Sharon 

6. Golden Crown for Authentic Mother – Uzamot Fathia Ayomide 

7. Two Against One – Williams Sharon Opeoluwa

8. TTT! The Twelve Thieves – Ladan Faheemi

9. The Warrior and Saviour of Honour – Obi Godswill Uzochukwu 

The event will celebrate the literary achievements of these young minds and underscores the importance that the University of Lagos places nurturing creativity and education from an early age.
